Sarkari exam: Allopathic Doctors Qualification in india.
Allopathic doctors in India are medical practitioners who practice modern medicine and hold a degree in MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
MBBS is a 5.5 year undergraduate degree program that includes both theoretical and practical training in various medical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, forensic medicine, community medicine, general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, ENT (ear, nose, and throat), and more.
To become an allopathic doctor in India, one needs to fulfill certain eligibility criteria, such as completing the 10+2 level of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, and obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. One also needs to appear for and qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), which is a national-level entrance exam for admission to MBBS and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses in India.
After completing MBBS, one can opt for further specialization in a particular field of medicine through postgraduate courses such as MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), or Diploma courses. These courses typically take 2-3 years to complete and provide in-depth knowledge and training in a specific area of medicine.
Allopathic doctors in India are regulated by the Medical Council of India (MCI), which is now replaced by the National Medical Commission (NMC), a statutory body responsible for the overall regulation of medical education and practice in the country. The NMC sets standards for medical education, conducts exams, and issues licenses to practice medicine in India.
